I'll be the first to tell you that I'm not extremely well versed on the whole concept-to-market process, but I'm guessing that this car in wraps in backwoods Wyoming was getting some testing done before being publicly released. I'm wondering if anyone can identify it; it was traveling in a convoy with what I'm guessing is an Infiniti in front (please correct me if I'm wrong; those tail lights look Infiniti to me, but I'm not sure; everything had been de-badged), and a Suburban in back (not pictured).

Kinja'd!!!

The Infiniti had a trailer hitch with an uncommon euro-style receiver ball. The plates were whited out, with an 'M' in the middle — manufacturer plates, I'm guessing.

Any ideas what this was all about?

No idea. Maybe a new Sentra?

Well, where abouts are you located? Country? State/territory ? It can help us figure it out.

Wyoming, USA. These were spotted on the highway that runs from the Black Hills in SD to Cheyenne, WY; headed towards Denver, CO. They stopped off for lunch in Lusk, WY, but based on the dirt marks, I'd say they had spent some time on dirt backroads.

Hmm, I saw no auto plants in Wyoming or the surrounding states, curious...

My dad-in-law works for Chrysler, and he sees cars like this all the time on i96. They tend to travel the same route, to get consistent readings.

Interesting. I've only seen a vehicle like this once before, and it was on I-80, just passing through. We really don't have any vehicle plants anywhere near us, so I've got no idea what they were doing; they were clearly traveling together, though.

I do know they sometimes travel in groups, I forget why though. The only reason I can think of them being that far away, is if they are testing the car in a long range test. Like not in miles, but days. It's a theory.
